OK, so I'm a little late on the Orrefors/Karl Lagerfeld collaboration

But what the hell! In his quest for doing something absolutely new fashion designer Karl Lagerfeld landed a collaboration with Orrefors, a Swedish company famous for their crystal utility and art glass. The collaboration has yielded three mini collections of clear, coloured and limited edition glassware.

The collection is sleek and graphic featuring sharp geometric shapes. The colour palette is the one favoured by the designer – black and white, of course and collection includes small and large black and white wine glasses and tumblers.
Karl Lagerfeld describes the white glasses as “free standing geometrical clouds”. And his vision of the collection was more geometrical shapes, less fuss and a monochrome colour palette.

Each glass in the collection comes with a coaster bearing a KL monogram that will help protect the table surfaces. The glasses are handmade in Orrefors using the over a century craftsmanship experience and new glass-making techniques.

You can purchase them online here.
