Where did the week go + Super finds!

It seems to be Friday again and I have no idea where the week went. Sewing some gorgeous cushions for the living room this week and finding the perfect timber room divider for my new headboard seems to have consumed my week. I am delighted with my finds! I found this gem at Loot. Its the perfect colour, size and the intricate pattern is gorgeous. Can't wait for installation day!

Room divider from Loot is perfect for my new headboard. Check out a Loot store near you for some other cool pieces.

And finally found some gorgeous patterned fabric for my living room cushions. It's not floral (def, not floral!!) but kind of a mix of tribal/Caribbean island feel (there, I invented a new style!) Blue, and Green with splashes of orange and white.
Oh, and my brass mask is from a vintage dealer in Bendigo, Vic. And it's damn heavy. One of my favourite pieces.

Have a great weekend all.  What are ya'll up to over the next few days? What projects have you got going on?

Monday Morning Mantra

A day late, but it's the cutest thing I've read in a while!

Tile Files : Vintage Tiles

I'm back after a short (or not so short) hiatus! I've been very busy working on my own home and things are slowly coming together. Pics to share later!
Today I am inspired by some colourful, patterned tiling. Liven up your wet areas with some colour and pattern for the forthcoming spring season. I love vintage tiles, but it is often difficult to find a good set, in good condition to cover the space you need. Alas, Old World Tiles has an amazing selection of gorgeous handmade and hand painted tiles.
I can see a Mixed Set on my laundry splashback.

Some inspiration for your tile files.

The Mixed Set from Old World Tiles I am coveting for my laundry splashback.
