I'm seeing them everywhere lately and I'm not sick of them yet! Place them sbove a bed, mantel or side board, they make for stunning features. They are available in a myriad of materials metal, wood, glass, plastic and can range dramatically in price depending on where your preferred place of purchase is. You can also DIY a gorgeous starburt mirror, with little outlay and a lot of patience - see last images.

This is a stunning DIY stratburst mirror using old cutlery. Great effect!
Mirrors really open up a room and the variety is HUGE. Once you settle on where you want your mirror to be positioned in your home, it's time to choose. Colour, size, shape, vintage, frame or frameless, material, lean-to, wall hung, or etched. Phew! Here are a few of my faves.
While I'm on the 'cluster wave', mirror clusters are also extremely effective. Same balance rules apply for this as frame clusters. Again, lay your mirror combination on the ground before banging your hooks into the wall to find your perfect balance. My favourite is the collective of antique mirrors in the fourth image below.
