Adam Levine's Hollywood Home

With an eclectic rock 'n' roll vibe Adam's Hollywood home is a masterpiece of design not only in structure but in styling. In true-muso style the home of Maroon Fives' front man is decked out in antique and modern pieces of furniture and fabulous art with deep colours of purple and wood-grain accenting each room. It seems a serene place, almost brooding with the opulent velvet curtains in the bedroom and charcoal colour painted walls. The exterior of the home is quite the opposite, bright whites with palm trees and a million dollar view over the swimming pool and the rolling Hollywood hills.

Diane Von Furstenberg's Greenwich Village Apartment

As you'd expect, Diane Von Furstenberg's apartment is filled with earthy furniture, amazing pattern and exquisite furniture pieces. Much like her fashion line her home is a testament to her passion for design and exquisite taste. Intriguing pattern and artisian style furniture pieces ensure a home of longevity as opposed to fast-moving style trends.

The teak free-standing bath is truly amazing and reins supreme in this main bathroom. The painted room dividers and timber features bring this bathroom down to earth.

I love the combination of the tree-like table and animal patterns in the rug and on the chairs. The abundance of plantlife injects a serene tribal-eqsue vibe.

I love the idea of a massive self portriat in ones house. But I think you have to be famous...don't you?  The mustard leather couch is gorgeous.

Reminiscent of camping under the stars in Africa, this octagon-shaped bed canopy is cosy and comfortable. The open ceiling conservatory style ceiling is just amazing. Imagine the view at night time.

The dining room which often doubles as an office space - this is where the magic happens. The inspiration pouring from this room is over whelming - colour, pattern, shape, worldy artifacts and a colossal mood baord make for productive think-tanks.

Olivia Palermo's Apartment

There is something about Olivia that I find intriguing. Her beauty? Her demeanour? Her style? Not sure. But her New York City, Tribeca apartment is gorgeous. And I know why I like it.

First, it has a glamorous girly feel about it; the huge dressing room with zebra print flooring and a wall-to-ceiling lean-to mirror just makes me want to dress up every day (maybe that's why she looks so good all the time......).
Second, the apartment lets in SO MUCH natural light which makes her light colour scheme glow.
And third, the upholstered Art Deco style chair is a killer, (it has pink trim!!) and the Hermes tray tie the whole look together.

You can check out Olivia's blog at oliviapalermo.com which covers things through fashion, lifestyle, travel and a handy section which addresses tricky fashion 'how to's'. Enjoy.

Sarah Jessica Parker's 'Weekend' House

The 'weekend' home of Sarah Jessica Parker and her husband Matthew Broderick in Bridgehampton exudes comfort and livability. The home was built in 1865 by a prominent landowner in a mix of Victorian styles.

The use of an industrial-style medicine cabinet does not add any harshness to the bathroom the pale blue instead adds a softness.

I love the re-upholstered arm chair with the use of silver studs and denim fabric.

The vintage hand-blown glass chandelier and the mismatched dining chairs add a gorgeous eclectic feel to the dining room.

Ahhh, the porch. Who wouldn't love to sit in there?

The vibrant and comfortable guest bedroom.

The brightly coloured, workable kitchen looks fit to feed a tribe. Whilst the black and white checkered flooring is a striking feature.

A window seat adds an romantic element whilst the tall windows and floral upholstery let the eye wander outside to the stunning gardens.

A beautiful blend of colours; chocolate, white and pale blue with bursts of lime green and pink = bright and fresh.

The master bedroom is delightfully cosy. I love the mirrored dresser next to the bed.

The fresh white and natural sisal floor covering reflects a lot of light around the room. I like the concept of 'unmatching' bedsides. One side sits a mirrored dresser the other a round table with table cloth. Perfectly un-matched.

An outdoor shower - who wouldn't love one of these for their grubby kids (and husbands!) before they enter the house. This one looks perfectly secluded and serene.

A classic style outdoor setting with a perfect view over the garden.

A gorgeous vintage wicker and chrome rocking chair sits in perfect position next to the open fire place. I like the look and convenience of fire wood being stored inside.
Looks good? yes! Spiders and bugs? no, thanks.

The guest bedroom again featuring a colourful needlework which was picked up at the local thrift store.

Ellen Pompeo's Hollywood Home

I am loving the earthy, tribal twist Ellen Pompeo has injected into her family home. Heavy wood and metals with a relaxed mediterranean vibe make this a Hollywood home with a difference.  Ellen lives here with her husband Chris Ivery and their daughter Stella Luna.
