Sarah Jessica Parker's 'Weekend' House

The 'weekend' home of Sarah Jessica Parker and her husband Matthew Broderick in Bridgehampton exudes comfort and livability. The home was built in 1865 by a prominent landowner in a mix of Victorian styles.

The use of an industrial-style medicine cabinet does not add any harshness to the bathroom the pale blue instead adds a softness.

I love the re-upholstered arm chair with the use of silver studs and denim fabric.

The vintage hand-blown glass chandelier and the mismatched dining chairs add a gorgeous eclectic feel to the dining room.

Ahhh, the porch. Who wouldn't love to sit in there?

The vibrant and comfortable guest bedroom.

The brightly coloured, workable kitchen looks fit to feed a tribe. Whilst the black and white checkered flooring is a striking feature.

A window seat adds an romantic element whilst the tall windows and floral upholstery let the eye wander outside to the stunning gardens.

A beautiful blend of colours; chocolate, white and pale blue with bursts of lime green and pink = bright and fresh.

The master bedroom is delightfully cosy. I love the mirrored dresser next to the bed.

The fresh white and natural sisal floor covering reflects a lot of light around the room. I like the concept of 'unmatching' bedsides. One side sits a mirrored dresser the other a round table with table cloth. Perfectly un-matched.

An outdoor shower - who wouldn't love one of these for their grubby kids (and husbands!) before they enter the house. This one looks perfectly secluded and serene.

A classic style outdoor setting with a perfect view over the garden.

A gorgeous vintage wicker and chrome rocking chair sits in perfect position next to the open fire place. I like the look and convenience of fire wood being stored inside.
Looks good? yes! Spiders and bugs? no, thanks.

The guest bedroom again featuring a colourful needlework which was picked up at the local thrift store.
