Colour Inspiration : Tangerine Tango

And the prediction goes to...................TANGERINE TANGO Pantone Colour of 2012.

And I love it. It is vibrant, bright, cheerful and a little cheeky. Pops of tangerine tango (or orange, perhaps!) throughout your rooms adds some unexpected interest. Here are a few fashions finds and some interiors inspiration.

Orange and pale blue always partner well.

Great bedside, very light and fresh. Again with the orange and pale blue combination.

Love these curtains - the room wouldn't be the same without them.

An exterior with personality - divine.

A couple of orangey vignettes.

Pops of orange colour in the bathroom eliminates some starkness from the all-white base.

These stools suit this kitchen perfectly - the dark flooring works well with the orange tones.

I love the style of this attic style bedroom, but I can't help feeling it needs a little more oomph. I especially like the see-through window furnishings.

The vibrancy of the orange couch really brightens up the room. Even with all the natural lighting, without this couch the room could look a little too, um, neutral? Again with the pale blue cushions with the orange!

Ooooh, looks comfy and relaxing. The orange is not too bright for a room which is designed for winding down. I love the extra touch of the orange candle beside the bed.

The easiest way to add colour to a room - wall art. AND this is an easy DIY project - play around with come canvas and a selection of paints - see what you some up with.

A simple pop of colour in a classic chair. I love this room.

I adore these ceramic drum stools. They are available in a variety of colours from many different on-line stores. I like the combination of lots of natural wood with orange in this room.

Who doesn't love a fluffy towel after their daily scrub? The pattern on this towel is ace.

Orange combined with pastel colours works too. The additions of pink, yellow and pale orange have created a sorbet themed room.

Beautiful dining chairs around an oval table. Don't drop your dinner on these!

I like the combination of pattern in this room, spots, stripes, floral, criss-cross and solid.
